About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to a student at a school in Worcester. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in offering personalized assistance to a specific student with unique learning needs, ensuring they have the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to their learning and well-being.
• Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies as directed by the SENCO and teaching staff.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment, promoting the student's participation and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure the student's individual needs are met effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders, including parents and external professionals.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students in their educational journey.
• A commitment to inclusive education and a willingness to undergo relevant training and development as required.
