Paragon Education is seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Kidderminster. We specialise in connecting skilled educators with schools that cater to students needing additional support.

Position Overview:
As a Secondary Teacher in a PRU, you will work with students who require tailored educational approaches due to behavioural, emotional, or social challenges. Your role will be critical in providing a supportive and structured learning environment to help students achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students in the PRU.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to education and wellbeing.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour management strategies.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working in a PRU or with students who have special educational needs.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and inclusive teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to making a positive difference in students' lives.
