Position Overview:

The KS1 Teacher will be integral to our efforts to enhance learning outcomes in the early years of schooling. You will be responsible for nurturing a love of learning in young students and providing a firm foundation for their future education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum that cater to a range of abilities.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
• Develop and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the learning and development of all students.
• Participate in and contribute to school events, activities, and staff meetings.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
• Experience teaching in KS1 or early years settings is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and a proactive approach to student welfare.
