Position Overview:
The KS1 Teacher will be integral to our efforts to enhance learning outcomes in the early years of schooling. You will be responsible for nurturing a love of learning in young students and providing a firm foundation for their future education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum that cater to a range of abilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- Develop and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support the learning and development of all students.
- Participate in and contribute to school events, activities, and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Experience teaching in KS1 or early years settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with children, staff, and parents.
