A friendly and well-resourced primary school in Birmingham is seeking a Reception Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This school has a strong focus on early years education and provides an engaging environment for both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality EYFS lessons that support early literacy and numeracy skills.
• Implement a play-based and child-centred learning approach.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and SENCO to support children with additional needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents to support children's development at home.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing targeted interventions where needed.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in EYFS.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and phonics schemes.
• A nurturing and patient approach to working with young children.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
