About the Role:

Paragon Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Maths Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Worcester, starting in September 2024. As a Maths teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students to develop their mathematical skills and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and mathematical fluency.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to succeed.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience and foster a love for mathematics.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and implement interventions to support student learning and address areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification, with specialisation or experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to engage with the subject and achieve their academic goals.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A commitment to inclusive education and the belief that all students can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and guidance.
