About the Role:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to join our team, providing cover across a range of primary, middle, and secondary schools throughout Worcestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy the flexibility of supply work and want to experience teaching in different educational settings.
Job Description:
As a Supply Teacher, you will step in to cover lessons for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of education for students. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lesson plans, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students in their learning. The role offers the opportunity to work across various schools, year groups, and subjects, making it ideal for teachers who are adaptable and eager to broaden their teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students across various subjects and age groups.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues that arise during the lesson.
- Be flexible and ready to work in different schools across Worcestershire, often at short notice.
- Engage and motivate students, ensuring they remain on task and achieve the lesson objectives.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience in teaching primary, middle, or secondary students.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to providing high-quality education.
