About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Food Technology for a school in Malvern. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of food technology, fostering their creativity, practical skills, and understanding of nutrition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in food technology, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Teach students a range of practical cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Introduce students to key concepts in nutrition, food hygiene, and the importance of a balanced diet.
• Organize and supervise practical cooking sessions, providing guidance and support to students as they develop their culinary skills.
• Assess students' practical work, coursework, and written assignments, providing constructive feedback to support their progress and attainment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Specialization or experience in teaching food technology, home economics, or a related subject area.
• Strong practical skills in cooking and food preparation, with a sound understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in their learning.
