About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a school in Yardley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the educational and personal development of students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons, adapting activities to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Assist students with their learning, offering one-to-one support and guidance as needed to reinforce concepts and facilitate progress.
• Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development through encouragement, empathy, and constructive feedback.
• Support students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and providing tailored support to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in education, childcare, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting, preferably as a teaching assistant or support worker.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and well-being of children and young people.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, adhering to school policies and procedures at all times.
