About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide maternity cover at a school in Redditch. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to join a supportive educational team and make a positive impact on students' learning journeys. The role is due to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in the planning and delivery of lessons, providing support to individual students or small groups as directed.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN), implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies.
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
• Assist with classroom management and organization, ensuring that resources and materials are accessible and appropriate for students' needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students receive the support and assistance they require to succeed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or similar role in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs and demands of the school environment.
• A commitment to promoting inclusive education and supporting the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and backgrounds.
