Position Overview:

This role calls for an experienced and compassionate Year 6 Teacher who will not only educate but also inspire our students as they prepare for the transition to secondary education. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated to provide a supportive, creative, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, thoughtful, and well-organized lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for their end of Key Stage 2 assessments and support their readiness for secondary education.
• Utilize assessment data to refine curriculum delivery and respond to the needs of students.
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes a passion for learning and encourages students to meet their potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to maximize student engagement and achievement.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Education.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, specifically Year 6, is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the SATs preparation and experience with students at this transitional stage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
